What is a 'System'?

A 'System' represents each separate installation of LemonBooking. If you have one location (venue), you will have one system. If you have multiple locations, you can manage up to three locations per system or you can operate separate systems for each location. Each system has its own URL, customer data and configuration options including modules, price lists, conditions of hire and staff accounts.

What is a 'Facility'?

A 'Facility' is a bookable space. While these are often rooms (halls, meeting rooms, etc.), they can also be tennis courts, football pitches, fields and even things like market stalls and outdoor spaces.

Facilities are counted based on the number of spaces that can be booked at the same time. For example, if you can book a hall and a meeting room separately or together - this counts as two facilities. On the other hand, if a football pitch can be booked as one whole pitch or divided into four smaller pitches, it counts as four facilities.

Can we use our own domain name with LemonBooking?

You can use any domain name with LemonBooking. If you have a domain name our team can help you connect it and if you don't we can register one for you. Popular TLDs (.co.uk .org.uk .com .org .uk) are charged at £12 per year and other extensions are available on request.

Do you provide email accounts?

If you register a domain name with LemonBooking you can also add professional email accounts for £1 each, per month. Each inbox has 2GB of space along with webmail, antivirus & spam protection as standard.

What if I need more file storage?

Each plan includes a certain amount of file storage (see above). You can store more data if needed — but please note that we charge £1 per month, per GB of data.

Are there any set up fees?

Where will our data be stored?

All data is stored in data centres in London provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

What is the process for cancelling a subscription?

There are no cancellation fees for LemonBooking so you are free to leave any time. If you cancel, any unused/future months will be immediately refunded to you. All you need to do is email contact@lemonbooking.com and your cancellation will be registered on the next working day.

I need more than 10 systems - what is the price?

Please contact us directly if you are looking to purchase more than 10 systems. You may be eligible for a bulk discount and you can request integrations for third party systems and services that we don't support on our standard plans.

Do you charge VAT on your subscriptions?

VAT will be applied to subscriptions using the reverse charge mechanism.

If you are VAT registered, you will need to account for the resulting VAT liability on your VAT return.

If you are not VAT registered, you do not need to declare or pay VAT. However, you should be aware that the VAT liability counts towards your own VAT registration turnover threshold.

What payment methods do you accept?

Subscriptions for charities and businesses under £1,000 per year must be paid by Direct Debit. Subscriptions of £1,000 or more may be paid by Direct Debit, or bank transfer (BACS). Government and public-sector organisations are not required to pay by Direct Debit. If you can only pay by credit or debit card, please contact us before starting your subscription. We do not accept payments by cheque or cash under any circumstances.
