We update LemonBooking regularly with new features, integrations and other improvements. The most recent changes are listed below.

April update - Partnership with Utility Aid

We’re pleased to announce a new partnership with Utility Aid, helping charities and not-for-profit organisations access expert support with energy costs, switching, bill checking, VAT queries, and net zero planning.

February update - Xero certification, Apple/Google Pay and QR scanners

Our Xero integration is now officially certified, with faster syncing and an exclusive 90% discount on Xero for six months for LemonBooking venues. We're also introducing Apple Pay and Google Pay payments, alongside other improvements including a QR ticket scanner for faster check-ins, event categorisation tools, and enhanced website analytics.

September update - Partnership with GoCardless

We’ve partnered with GoCardless to make it easier than ever for venues to collect payments by bank transfer. GoCardless enables fast, secure online bank transfers and Direct Debits – fully integrated into LemonBooking. With GoCardless, there's no need to chase overdue invoices, store details for refunds or match payments to invoices — it all happens automatically.

July update - Discount codes for bookings

Our July update brings a new discount codes module, shortcuts for common admin tasks, a dedicated website options page, new ticketing features, fresh API endpoints, help centre updates and more.

March update - Class signups and new help centre

Our March update introduces a new module for class signups (yoga, pilates, dance and the rest), a completely rebuilt help centre, a dedicated catering report, and clearer visibility of transaction fees for Stripe, PayPal and SumUp.

October update

Custom questions and SumUp payments for ticketed events, website editor updates, custom headers and footers on invoices, a customer filter for work schedules, new price-override controls, and more.

September update

New scheduled emails, attachments for email templates, an upgraded website contact form, files for resources, bulk invoicing improvements, and more.

Updates for July

New online payment integrations for Square and GOV.UK Pay, fresh invoicing options, updates for ticketed events, calendar tweaks, and more.

System updates for June

A ticket limit per person, calendar updates, additional Excel exports, custom rota tasks, booking tasks on the Silver and Gold plans, new report filters, and more.

New module for website analytics

A new LemonBooking module for website analytics — track visitors, pageviews, popular pages, referrers, average time on site and more. Data is collected in a GDPR-compliant way, so there’s no need for a cookie warning on your site.

New features for resources & more

A big set of improvements for resources (the equipment and services people add to their bookings), a new chart in the occupancy report, plus smaller updates for custom questions and sent emails.

Smart device integrations & new website for LemonBooking

A lot has changed in the two and a half years since LemonBooking launched. Last year we added online ticket sales; now we’re opening up to integrations with smart devices like Nuki locks and Google Nest thermostats.

Introducing Pay360 - A new payment option for LemonBooking

Two updates for November. A new integration with Capita Pay360 brings the total number of supported payment providers to five — SumUp, Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal and Pay360 — and the GoCardless integration now supports Direct Debit mandates.

Automatic email reminders

Set automatic email reminders against customers, bookings and invoices — for example, to send an invoice, return a deposit, or add more sessions to a regular booking. LemonBooking will email you when the reminder is due.

Sell tickets with LemonBooking, FreeAgent module & more

Three big changes in our September update — a brand new ticketing module, a contact form block for the website editor, and a new integration for the FreeAgent accounting package. Thanks, as always, to everyone who fed back on this release.

Staff rota module

Our August update introduces a new, free Staff Rotas module. Build rotas, assign staff or volunteers to opening, closing and cleaning tasks for each booking session, and choose whether pending booking requests are included in the schedule.

Auto-fill time slots

One of the most-requested features over the past couple of months: a quicker way to select large numbers of time slots on the same day. Now available to all customers as part of the June update.

New design for the agenda view

Picking up where last month’s update left off, we’ve continued work on the calendar — this time focusing on the Agenda view, with changes shaped by recent customer feedback.

New calendar design for the month view

LemonBooking has four calendar views, but the Month view is by far the most popular. A significant redesign, shaped by customer feedback, with new colours and initials per facility.

Shortcuts for upfront invoicing

For one-off bookings and new customers, it’s often useful to take part of the total payment upfront. LemonBooking can now generate the invoice automatically and email it to the customer alongside their booking confirmation.
