Six changes for community venues that sell tickets with LemonBooking: a waiting list for sold-out events, partial refunds, discount codes for ticket orders, a search box on the events list, the option to transfer a ticket to a different date, and the ability to schedule automatic emails before or after each event.
Waiting list for sold-out events

When an event sells out, customers can join a waiting list from the event page. They give their email address, say how many tickets they would have bought, and LemonBooking holds the list in sign-up order.
If more tickets come up later — because you've added capacity or someone has been refunded — you can email the whole list in a single click.

Partial refunds for ticket orders
All plans
You can now refund individual tickets from an order. Pick the tickets you want to refund and LemonBooking issues a credit note for each one. The other tickets stay valid for entry.
Partial refunds work with the automatic refund options for Stripe, SumUp, PayPal, Square and GoCardless — so the customer's card is credited the right amount with no manual bookkeeping.

Discount codes for tickets

Building on the discount codes module for bookings, you can now create discount codes for individual events.
Choose which ticket types the code applies to, set a percentage discount, cap the number of uses, and optionally limit it to a date range. Customers enter the code on the order form and the discount is applied automatically.
Search box for ticketed events
All plans
Venues with a long back catalogue of events can make use of a new search function. A search box has been added to the events list which looks across event names, dates and order references — archived events included.
Transfer a ticket to a different date
All plans
If a customer can no longer make the date they booked, you can transfer their ticket to a different session (or ticket type) from the event summary page. The destination needs space and the price has to match.
Handy for evening classes, multi-night workshops, watersports courses — anywhere a customer might need to swap to a different date at short notice.
Automatic emails for events
All plans
LemonBooking can now send emails automatically a set number of days before or after an event. Set up a reminder seven days before the show, a thank-you the morning after, or a feedback request a week later. Once configured, the emails go out on their own.
Filter recipients by order status (paid, pending, refunded), check-in status and marketing opt-in, so the right people get the right message without you chasing the whole guest list each time.
