February update
Xero Partnership
Xero certified integration
We’re pleased to announce that LemonBooking’s integration with Xero is now officially Xero Certified. This certification confirms that LemonBooking meets Xero’s standards for security, reliability, and accounting best practices.
90% discount for LemonBooking venues
As part of this agreement, LemonBooking venues that sign up to Xero will receive 90% off the first six months of their Xero subscription. Contact us to claim your discount today: contact@lemonbooking.com
Xero tech support
The partnership also includes higher API limits so we can sync more data, more quickly — plus we will have access to dedicated Xero support so we can maintain and upgrade our integration going forward.
How does the integration work?
Xero is accounting software. The LemonBooking–Xero integration automatically keeps your booking and accounting data in sync. When invoices or credit notes are created in LemonBooking, they are automatically sent to Xero using the Xero API. When payments are reconciled in Xero, the payment data is sent back to LemonBooking so both systems stay up to date.
You can configure Xero billing codes (nominal codes) and tracking categories within LemonBooking, ensuring that invoices exported to Xero include the correct accounting classifications.
Save time on your bookkeeping
If your venue is still managing finances with spreadsheets or manual processes, connecting LemonBooking with Xero can save you hours every month.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Starting in April, LemonBooking venues will be able to accept payments for facility hire and ticket sales using Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Apple Pay and Google Pay allow customers to pay instantly using the payment details saved on their phone or device. Instead of entering card details manually, customers simply confirm using Face ID, Touch ID, or their passcode.
Register your interest
If you would like to be among the first venues to accept Apple Pay and Google Pay through LemonBooking, please get in touch: contact@lemonbooking.com

Venues using LemonBooking to sell tickets can now check people into events quickly using a handheld QR code scanner. These scanners can be connected directly to a laptop and allow staff to check in guests extremely quickly by simply scanning the QR codes on their tickets or order confirmations.

We recommend the Eyoyo Handheld USB 2D Barcode Scanner for scanning LemonBooking tickets. This scanner is available via Amazon and retails at about £30: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B088QV215Y
Other updates
Free equipment & services for staff
Equipment and services can now be marked free to use for staff. This makes it easier to reserve resources internally without generating billing tasks.
Improved website analytics
We have improved how we measure "average time on site".
Previously, visit duration could only be measured if a visitor moved from one page to another. This meant visits where someone viewed a single page and then left could not be measured accurately.
We now detect when a visitor leaves your page using departure pings, which means we can measure the duration of all visits, including single-page visits. This provides more accurate insights into how visitors interact with your website.
Group events into categories
Ticketed events can now be grouped into categories so they can be displayed in different sections or pages on your website. This helps organise your events and makes it easier for customers to browse them.
Custom “request submitted” messages
Venues using multiple booking forms can now choose which “request submitted” message is sent to customers, depending on the form they submitted. This allows you to tailor messages for different types of booking requests.
